Why Fundraise for RIPPLE Africa?
Our fundraisers are passionate people. They care deeply about those less fortunate than themselves and want to make a difference in this world. If this sounds like you, then you are already a RIPPLE Africa fundraiser and didn’t even know it! Our fundraisers don’t have to be rich or well connected. They are ordinary people who use their passion to convince others that RIPPLE Africa is worth supporting, and that people in Malawi deserve a hand up! Why fundraise for RIPPLE Africa? BECAUSE YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, and nothing in life is more powerful or fulfilling than that.

How to Start Online Fundraising with JustGiving
- Create a fundraising page with JustGiving. It’s quick, simple and free! Anyone in the world can set up a page, and anyone in the world can donate.
- Write some interesting text! Tell us your story, and don’t forget to tell your supporters about the charity too, such as: RIPPLE Africa is a UK charity working in Malawi with education, healthcare and environmental projects. The charity’s philosophy is to provide a hand up, not a hand out. To find out more about RIPPLE Africa, visit their website at www.rippleafrica.org.
- Include interesting pictures and video! Put a photo of yourself on your page, and include some pictures from RIPPLE Africa too. You can download any or all of the pictures from the Photos to Download page.

- Choose a Fundraising Idea! Marathons, bike rides, swims, diets, climbs, coffee mornings, sponsored silences, shaving your head: whatever you fancy! Of course you don’t need to do anything to raise money. But it’s fun, and certainly helps! Read our A-Z Fundraising Ideas for inspiration.
- Tell everyone! Put the link from your fundraising page on Facebook, e-mail your friends/family/work colleagues, and get people donating!
- E-mail RIPPLE Africa! We like to know who is fundraising for us, and we can feature you on our website! Send us an e-mail to introduce yourself, and we will warmly welcome you to the RIPPLE Africa family!
