RIPPLE
Africa is registered with Justgiving, so if you want to raise funds
through a sponsored event you can do this quickly and easily online
with your own personalised web page — just follow these steps: |
| |
| Step
1: |
Go
to the Justgiving website and follow the instructions
to set up your account and fundraising page. |
| Step
2: |
We
suggest you write some interesting copy to include
information about your event, i.e. marathon, wedding, etc., and
then write something about RIPPLE Africa and include a link to
the RIPPLE Africa website, www.rippleafrica.org. You can copy
and past the following text:
RIPPLE
Africa is a UK charity working in Malawi with education, healthcare
and environmental projects. The charity's philosophy is to provide
a hand up, not a hand out. To find out more about RIPPLE Africa,
visit their website at www.rippleafrica.org. |
| Step
3: |
You
can choose and download one of the six animated GIFs
we have created for you to use. They are the correct size for
the Justgiving website. Click here
to see all six animated GIFs. We can also include your
picture in the animated GIF — just send us a digital
picture of yourself, and we'll do the rest. |
| Step
4: |
Send
out an email to your family, friends, work colleagues,
etc., giving a link to your Justgiving fundraising page, and remember
to keep in touch with them on a regular basis. (People often want
to donate but need to be reminded.) |
| Step
5: |
Raise
lots of money for RIPPLE Africa. Good luck! (We can assure
you that your money will be used wisely on our projects in Malawi. |
