How To Donate

There are three ways you can donate to RIPPLE Africa. They are:

Credit card:
UK tax payers — JustGiving (click here).
Non UK residents — PayPal (click here).

Bank Giro Credit or online banking:
Fill in a Donation Form (in PDF format) and return it to us. Our Bank details are on the form.

Post:
Please download and fill in a Donation Form (in PDF format), remembering to complete the Gift Aid section if you are a UK tax payer, and send us either cash, a cheque, or complete the Standing Order part of the form.

If you want to support a particular project, please ensure you write the project name clearly on the Donation Form. If the project is over-subscribed, we will use your donation where it is most needed unless you indicate otherwise. Please also remember to include your e-mail address as we will not be able to keep you updated with news about RIPPLE Africa without it.

Projects

Since starting RIPPLE Africa in 2003, the charity has developed quickly and now employs about 160 local Malawian staff (recently reduced to around 80 due to the global financial crisis) working on a variety of projects covering education, the environment and healthcare. In addition, we also estimate that there are 3,000 people involved with our reforestation and tree planting project.

Funding is required for our two major projects and also for our other projects:

•	Reforestation and Tree Planting Project
•	New Secondary School at Kapanda, Malawi
•	Funding for Other Projects

However, MissionFish (who operate eBay for Charity) levy a fee for their services of 20% on donations between £1.00-£9.99, 15% on donations between £10.00-£99.99 plus £2.00 from the first £9.99 donated, 10% on donations between £100.00-£999.99 plus £15.50 from the first £99.99 donated, and 5% on donations of £1,000.00 or more plus £105.50 from the first £999.99 donated.

Where Will Your Money Go?

We keep our costs to a minimum, and we assure you that the money you donate will be spent on our projects in Malawi. It is amazing how much can be achieved, even with relatively small amounts of money. We keep all donors up to date with what is happening in Malawi through our Newsletters, which are posted in the News section of our website.
