Building the nursery school at Mazembe was a really exciting and rewarding project. We were thrilled when Driven Worldwide donated the full amount to build this school. The community were in desperate need for this new building as the children were being taught in an old church building which was often required for other purposes. The community approached us to see if we could help!

The project started with the community making the bricks and, when these were made, RIPPLE Africa organised the building of the school. The team of builders were really committed and motivated, and most of the building was completed in four weeks. The children are now using the school every day, and the community is very grateful.
