Progress on the Second Basic Double Classroom Block at Mwaya Primary School

Good progress is being made with the construction of the second basic double classroom block at Mwaya Primary School. Despite very heavy rains over the last month, which is good for the crops but not so good for building work, the iron sheet roof will be going on this week. Once that is complete, the classrooms will be ready to use in a couple of weeks’ time, with the main item to finish off being the concrete floor and then tidying up the brickwork. Thanks to our generous donors, the Sir Ernest Cassel Educational Trust, for this great project. Here are the latest up to date photos from Malawi, courtesy of Dan Shaba.
